How much benefit can I get?
Adult benefit
- Annual benefit: up to €60
- Co-payment: 50%
Example: treatment €100 → Tervisekassa €50 – patient €50.
Groups with higher benefit
- Annual benefit: up to €105
- Co-payment: 12.5%
Example: treatment €100 → Tervisekassa €87.50 – patient €12.50.
Who gets a higher benefit?
- Pregnant women and mothers of children under 1
- Pensioners and insured patients aged 63+
- Patients with disability or reduced work ability
- Registered unemployed and recipients of subsistence benefit
- Patients with increased treatment need (as assessed by a doctor)

Denture benefit
- €260 over three years (pensioners, reduced/absent work ability, 63+)
- In addition to the annual dental benefit (denture work does not use the annual benefit)
- Valid in partner clinics; your balance can be seen on eesti.ee

Can I use the full benefit in one visit?
Yes. You can use your annual limit in a single visit.
Do the dental care and denture benefits overlap?
No. They are separate benefits.
Does the unused benefit carry over?
The dental benefit is per calendar year; the denture benefit is valid for a 3-year period.
